The CFDA Awards just took place. This award night is one of the main events in fashion that reveal the top influential designers and fashion enthusiasts for the previous year. For 2016, Creative Director of Calvin Klein, Raf Simons, took home the well-deserving award for womenswear and menswear designer of the year. I’ve been seeing a lot of Calvin Klein on various red carpet events and truly agree that he most definitely deserves this award because his pieces are stunning.
This year’s Fashion Icon Award goes to the late Franca Sozzani. Franca was the editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia and was one of the most influential women in fashion.
